誕生
カリフォルニア州サンフランシスコに拠点を置くFAB28は、
2015年にジェイ・パディラ氏によって設立された。
ソフトウェア・エンジニアとして27年のキャリアを積んだジェイ氏は、退職金を元手ににFAB28は誕生した。

Based in San Francisco, California, FAB28 was founded in 2015 by Jay Padilla.
After a 27-year career as a software engineer, Jay awakened FAB28 with his severance package.
His aspirations are.

原点
ジェイ氏は日本のカーカルチャーから多大なインスピレーションを得て、オートバイカスタマイズの世界に飛び込んだ。
80年代後半、彼は「車を改造してパフォーマンスを向上させる」という日本のアプローチに大いに魅了され、趣味で友人の日本車(四輪)のエキゾーストを作るなどして溶接等の技術面を磨いてきたと言う。
彼自身、TOYOTA、NISSAN、MITSUBISHIと多くの日本車を乗り継いできた。
日本のアフターマーケットパーツメーカーが見せる品質と革新性は、彼に大きな衝撃を与え、同時に彼の原点となった。
この影響は、彼がエキゾースト・システムを設計・製造する方法を形作っているだけでなく、製品の製造に対する彼のビジョンにも滲み出ている。
Jay was heavily inspired by Japanese car culture and jumped into the world of motorcycle customization.
In the late 80's, he was fascinated by the Japanese approach of "modifying cars to improve performance," and honed his welding and other skills by building exhaust systems for his friends' Japanese (4-wheeled) cars as a hobby.
He himself has driven many Japanese cars, including Toyotas, Nissans, and Mitsubishis.
The quality and innovation shown by Japanese aftermarket parts makers had a huge impact on him and became his roots.
This influence not only shapes the way he designs and manufactures exhaust systems, but also bleeds into his vision for the manufacturing of his products.

パフォーマンスパーツで世界的に有名な「クラウス」のデモ車両。エキゾーストはFAB28のワンオフである。
スタントチームとして大活躍中の「アンノウンインダストリーズ」そのメンバーの車両にはFAB28のロゴが鈍く光る。
レースでの実績も目覚ましく、バガーレーシングリーグやKING OF THE BAGGERS ではFAB28のマフラーを装着した車両が表彰台に登った。
FAB28の技術力と拘り、そしてジェイ氏の人柄によって業界内から多くの信頼とリスペクトを集めている。

Also, the FAB28 logo shines dully on the vehicle of a member of "Unknown Industries," a stunt team that is very active in the industry.
The team's racing achievements are also remarkable, and a car equipped with a FAB28 muffler took the top spot in the Bagger Racing League and KING OF THE BAGGERS.

製品への拘り / 追求
FAB28のエキゾーストシステムは、素材、構造、クオリティ、
そしてパフォーマンスの追求、、、
その全てにおいて、拘れる限りを尽くして製造されている。
エキゾーストの制作に使用する素材は、米国内調達のステンレス素材に限られる。
これは海外で調達するステンレス素材に比べて、溶接のクオリティーを格段に上げる事を可能にするためだ。
エキゾーストシステムの構造においては、ヘッドパイプ、マージコレクター、マフラーを別々の部品で構成する”モジュラーデザイン”を特徴としている。
これにより、部位ごとに修理/交換しやすいという理由の他に、エンジンのカスタムに合った設計のヘッドパイプ、マージコレクターを選択することを可能にする。
エキゾーストシステムの中で最も複雑な部位がマージコレクターだ。
他社との決定的な違いは、時間をかけてマージコレクター内部を手作業でホーニングしている点である。
これにより、排気が集合する際に流れがとてもスムーズになる。
エキゾーストカラーは独自設計による、自社工場でのCNC加工（削り出し）によって制作されている。これはフランジがすり抜けることなく大きなトルクを受け止めることができるよう設計されている。
妥協を一切廃し、徹底した製品への拘りが体現されている。

The FAB28 exhaust system is manufactured to the highest standards in terms of materials, construction, quality, and performance.
The materials used to create the exhausts are limited to stainless steel materials sourced in the United States.
This is because the quality of welding can be much higher than that of stainless steel materials procured overseas.
The exhaust system features a "modular design" where the head pipe, merge collector, and muffler are made up of separate parts.
This allows for the selection of headpipes and merge collectors designed to suit the engine's customization, in addition to making it easier to repair/replace individual parts.
The merge collector is the most complex part of the exhaust system.
The key difference between our products and those of other companies is that we take the time to hand-hone the inside of the merge collector.
This allows the exhaust to flow very smoothly as it collects.
The exhaust collar (explanation needed) is a proprietary design, CNC machined (machined) in our own factory.
It is designed to be able to take a large amount of torque without the flange slipping through.
This is the embodiment of the company's uncompromising and thorough commitment to its products.

By combining various options and accessories, it is possible to create customization that not only precisely matches the engine performance, but also creates originality depending on the combination.

The staff at FAB28 are all motorcycle freaks (Harleys?). They are all Harley-freaks.
